What Augusta Free Press Does For: Waynesboro YMCA

AFP

ymca websiteThe Waynesboro YMCA is one of the early clients of Augusta Free Press. The relationship between AFP and the Waynesboro Y began in 2009 with a new website design, and has grown over the years to encompass content development, video production, marketing campaigns and more.

AFP produces the Y Magazine, an ad-supported, full-color, print magazine with news, features and program information. The Y Magazine replaced the former four-page black and white program guide that was inserted into local newspapers.

AFP also works with the Y on marketing for the annual Y Gala, a key fundraising event for the YMCA, and the Merv Wooten Invitational golf tournament, including the production on a video series featuring the tournament’s sponsors.

Augusta Free Press has helped build an email database of more than 5,000 Y members and donors that the Y can communicate with regularly with program updates, facility news and more. The Y also has a strong social media presence that AFP has built over the past six years with more than 4,000 likes on Facebook.
