Interstate 64 westbound near Ivy reduced to one lane Tuesday: Road work

600px-I-64The Interstate 64 westbound left lane will be closed at mile marker 110 on Tuesday for emergency shoulder repairs. Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., traffic will be reduced to one lane at the Mechums River bridge in Albemarle County.

During the closure, motorists should obey traffic controls and expect minor delays.

Road and weather conditions, traffic camera feeds and other real-time travel information are available on the511 Virginia website, the free VDOT 511 mobile app or by calling 511 from any phone in Virginia. Local updates are also on Facebook and Twitter. Call 1-800-FOR-ROAD to report road problems or request information about Virginia’s highways.
