More than half of all web traffic comes from smartphones and tablets, and the trend that has seen more traffic from mobile than desktop is only going to get more pronounced in the coming months and years.
Google has come out with a new set of standards for judging the mobile-friendliness of sites that will reward those that have mobile-specific design elements in search results.
What this means for you: if you’re mobile-friendly online, good for you, you get the rewards, and if you’re not, well, you can guess what that will mean.
