Waynesboro: Fishburne Color Guard to present colors at JMU-Delaware football game

The Fishburne Color Guard has the honor of presenting the colors before the James Madison-Delaware football game on Saturday.

The game will be the Homecoming game for JMU, which is ranked #1 nationally in I-AA football.

“We are thrilled that our Color Guard has the chance to take part in this special event at JMU,” Color Guard Advisor First Sgt. Jim Hensley said. “Thanks to their hard work and dedication, this group never fails to inspire with their performances.”

Members of the Color Guard involved in the presentation include Justin Knuth, Color Guard Commander, FMS junior, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Zimmerman of Stafford; Alexander Macavoy-Gomez, Battalion Commander, senior, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Gomez of La Grande, Ore.; Justin Ford, sophomore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Ray Ford Jr., Miramar, Fla.; Jordan Chambers-Blair, junior, son of Ms. Letisha Blair, of Charlotte, N.C.; Matthew Tisdelle, Junior, son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Tisdelle, of Fishersville; and Tzu-Han “Evan” Pai, Senior, nephew of Mrs. Eugenia Henry of Sparks, Md., originally from Taipei, Taiwan.
