Tweet Disaster: What is up with Ryback?

Chris Graham

“Not sure where my career stands. I may quit.” Ryback tweeted this on Sunday, after a confusing Saturday night tweet, now deleted, in which it seemed that he was suggesting that he had been released from WWE.

It’s not been a good week for the one-time main-eventer, who on Monday added to his reputation for working stiff with a clothesline to former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler that put Ziggler on the shelf with a concussion. Reports on wrestling news websites had Ryback enduring some locker-room heat for the incident.

What triggered Saturday night’s episode is unknown. It has been reported that Ryback had been pulled over by a police officer who mistook the GPS device in his car for a mobile phone, and that his tweet about being released had to do with being released from the scene by the officer.

But then came Sunday and the tweet about where his “career stands.”
