A student-led project to develop a database of Fairview Cemetery, an important vestige of the African-American community in Staunton and Augusta County, will soon have a new online home with a website produced by Augusta Free Press.
Designers Chris Graham and Crystal Graham and database design specialist Coleman Kitchin are working with MBC on the project, which sprang out of research done in classes taught by Mary Baldwin professor Amy Tillerson-Brown.
