AFP

river-city-radio-hour4The River City Radio Hour begins the new year with a new twist along with its traditional entertainment.  Once again The Boogie Kings will delight the audience with the keyboard virtuosity of William Hayes, the percussive wizardry of J. T. Fauber and the genius of Richard Adams.

Waynesboro’s first lady of laughter, Marsha Howard, will bring a fresh dollop of humor to the proceedings.  And the River City Players will present a new chapter in A. Love Diary by Bob Crawford.  In the new installment, Angel Love has to return to Timberlake, Virginia only to find that her mother’s description of the family crisis was fabricated.  What will she do now is the central question for Chapter Five.

Chrystal McKee who appears as the lead in A. Love Diary will join the Boogie Kings as the guest musician.  Also making an appearance is George Shifflet of the Hens of Renown fame.  The Hens are touring the world with their manager, Manfred Martin.  George has hatched a new plan. It concerns a dog in a window and a possible rebellion for control of the Radio Hour.
