VCU Basketball rolled out its completed non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2026-2027 season, and, gotta say, impressed.

Two tough true road games, two tough neutral-site games, and a trip to Hawaii.

Not much on the home schedule, but still.

This is the kind of schedule that helps you build an NCAA Tournament resume.

Among the highlights:

  • the Rams are headed out to Maui around Thanksgiving, with a possible second-round matchup with Arizona on the agenda.
  • there’s also a game in Orlando with Florida Atlantic (Dec. 12), and a game in Huntsville, Ala., with Mississippi State (Dec. 19).
  • two other road games worth mentioning: at Memphis (Nov. 7), which has been to three of the past five NCAA Tournaments; and at Santa Clara (Nov. 19), which took Kentucky to the limit in the 2026 Big Dance.

The home schedule, like I said, it ain’t much:

  • Little Rock (Nov. 2)
  • NJIT (Nov. 11)
  • Coppin State (Dec. 3)
  • North Carolina Central (Dec. 7)
  • Central Connecticut State (Dec. 15)
  • Morgan State (Dec. 22)
