UVa.-Virginia Tech football game to kick off at noon on ESPNU

Chris Graham

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Sunday that Virginia’s road football game at Virginia Tech on Saturday, Nov. 24, will kick off at noon. The game will be broadcast by the ESPNU.

Virginia Tech (5-6, 3-4 ACC) needs a win in the regular-season finale to become bowl-eligible. Virginia (4-7, 2-5 ACC) is no longer in contention for a spot in the 2012 bowl season.

The Hokies have won eight straight in the series with the ‘Hoos, whose last win over Virginia Tech came in 2003. Tech has won 12 of the last 13 games with UVa. dating back to 1999.
