Richmond: Police ID victim in Saturday hit-and-run on Semmes Avenue

Richmond Police have identified the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run on Semmes Avenue on Saturday.

Kristin Tolbert, 26, of Richmond, was crossing Semmes Avenue northbound near the intersection of West 15th Street at 11:31 p.m. Saturday night when she was struck by a vehicle operating eastbound, according to police.

Tolbert was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle had driven from the scene prior to the arrival of officers.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call RPD Crash Team Investigator D. Olson at (804) 646-1664 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
