Albemarle County | Emergency bridge repair will affect traffic on I-64 tonight

VDOT crews will be working late tonight on an emergency bridge repair on Interstate 64 over Moore’s Creek in Albemarle County.

From 9 p.m. to midnight, workers will shorten the acceleration lane onto Interstate 64 eastbound from U.S. 29 Bypass northbound and southbound to repair a bridge joint located just east of mile marker 118.

Drivers entering the interstate on that ramp should exercise extreme caution and watch for workers near the travel lanes.
