Richmond Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred over the weekend that resulted in a fatality.
Alfonso Goodwyn, 58, of Richmond, was killed in the 1:28 a.m. Saturday crash in the 2800 block of Rady Street for the report of a motorcycle crash.
Officers arrived at the scene and found Goodwyn on the ground and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
The RPD Crash Team responded to the scene and have determined that Goodwyn was traveling westbound on Rady Street when the crash occurred, that no other vehicles were involved in the crash, and that speed may have been a factor which resulted in the crash.
