DuPont Community Credit Union’s 2010 Corporate Charity “Cause for Paws” Employee Team is sponsoring a Prize-A-Day Drawing for the month of August to raise money for area SPCAs and animal shelters.

Drawing tickets are being sold by team members at various businesses on weekends and available at DCCU offices during the month of July.

Tickets are $10 each, and one winning ticket will be drawn each of the 31 days for the month of August. Prizes include items donated from area businesses, tourist attractions, restaurants, museums, hotels, and individuals.

Complete listings of all prizes are available on DCCU’s website at www.mydccu.com. The prizes are approximately $4,000 in total value, and range from $200 to $50 in value.

Each year DCCU employees select a charity to support as the credit union’s corporate charity. This year employees chose to support the Augusta Regional SPCA, Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA, and the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter. Employees are raising funds to be distributed to each organization from the Prize-A-Day Drawing for August. To purchase tickets or for questions you can call 540.946.3200 x3106 or eMail [email protected].
