Most of Virginia will be moving into Phase Two of the slow reopen of economic and social activity on Friday, Gov. Ralph Northam said today.

Phase Two of the reopen allows dining in restaurants at 50 percent indoor capacity, gyms opening at 30 percent capacity, swimming pools opening for exercise and swim instruction, and the upper cap on public gatherings being raised from 10 to 50 people.

Northern Virginia and the City of Richmond will not move into Phase Two with the rest of the state on Friday, the governor said.

More details to come.
