On the one-year anniversary of the day he was sworn in as a member of Congress, Tom Perriello released an annual report summarizing the work of his first year in office.

The report includes his legislative accomplishments, a county-by-county summary, a summary of constituent services, a staff directory, and more.

“One year into my term, I am proud of the work we have done to bring serious investment to our area, saving jobs and supporting the local economy during a brutal recession,” Perriello said in a statement.

“I have worked hard to be present in the community, transparent in our funding requests, and focused as much as possible on game-changing investments rather than symbolic expenditures. I would like to thank all of my constituents who have taken the time to voice opinions, share suggestions, and be engaged. I am proud of the work we have done and results we have produced, but I am not nearly satisfied. I look forward now to what we can accomplish together in year two. Thank you for giving me the chance to serve.”

The report can be downloaded from Congressman Perriello’s website at: http://perriello.house.gov/uploads/2009AnnualReport.pdf.
