Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) announced a grant award of $7,508,838 for Richmond City Public Schools’ Early Head Start and Head Start programs.
“Head Start gives all students the opportunity to succeed with a strong start to their education,” said Congressman Donald McEachin. “I am pleased to see these monies awarded to RPS to better support the Head Start programs, so that we can increase the number of children that benefit from a high-quality preschool education.”
The Administration for Children and Families, housed under the Department of Health and Human Services, awarded this grant funding.
