policeAn Appomattox man is dead from injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Prince Edward County early Saturday morning.

Alexander W. Lloyd, 24, was transported to Southside Community Hospital with life-threatening injuries from the 12:57 a.m. crash. He succumbed to those injuries later that morning. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
