UVa. ACC men’s basketball tickets on sale next week

Tickets for the Virginia men’s basketball team’s home games with Atlantic Coast Conference opponents go on sale Friday, Nov. 20, at 9 a.m. exclusively online at VirginiaSports.com. Telephone and ticket window sales of single-game tickets for home games with ACC opponents begin on Monday, Nov. 23, at 9 a.m.

Virginia hosts eight conference rivals at John Paul Jones Arena during the 2009-10 season. Those opponents include Georgia Tech (Jan. 13), Miami (Jan. 16), Virginia Tech (Jan. 28), NC State (Feb. 3), Wake Forest (Feb. 6), Florida State (Feb. 17), Duke (Feb. 28) and Maryland (March 6). Tickets for the Duke, Maryland and Virginia Tech games are $35 each and tickets for the other five games are $30 each.

A Family Package is also available for UVa’s game with Miami. The Family Package includes four tickets, four hot dogs and four 22-ounce sodas. The cost of the Miami Family Package is $84 with additional tickets costing $21 each.

Fans may purchase tickets by calling the Virginia athletics ticket office at 1-800-542-8821 or 434/924-8821 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased in person by visiting the athletics ticket office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
