The following is a list of highway work that might affect traffic in the Staunton transportation district during the coming weeks. The Staunton district is comprised of 11 counties: Alleghany, Bath, Rockbridge, Augusta, Highland, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Frederick, Page, Warren and Clarke.

This week, for the first time since March 12, the national average price for unleaded gasoline has dropped below $3.50 per gallon. The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.48 per gallon Friday, down four cents from last week.
