I am a 30-year veteran law enforcement official from another jurisdiction. I have no stake in the election. I will not be coming to work in Augusta County if a certain candidate wins. I have followed the candidates in social media and watched the forums. It is clear to me that Derek Almarode is the most experienced person running for Augusta County sheriff.
