Tech sector pulls down $488M contract for Harrisonburg

A Harrisonburg-based military and emergency-response supplier has secured a $488 million federal contract to provide logistical support to military commands, federal agencies and other authorized customers worldwide. The two-year contract with Tactical and Survival Specialties Inc. is expected to result in additional jobs for the Central Shenandoah Valley.
