The Waynesboro Public Library is featuring a display of Wizard of Oz memorabilia during the month of March. This exhibit of items on loan from the collection Ramona Gordon includes costumes, playbills, tickets, photographs, artwork, record albums, posters, books, and toys relating to the Wizard of Oz books, films, plays, and tourist attractions.

The Waynesboro Public Library will host a celebration of traditional Irish music with Alex Caton and Pat Egan at 12 p.m., Friday, March 16. The free hour-long performance includes a light lunch.

GRASP (GReat Aspirations Scholarship Program), a non-profit, educational organization, now provides free, evening, college financial aid advising and FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) assistance at the Waynesboro Public Library (600 S Wayne Ave, Waynesboro) on Wednesdays from 6-8pm, by appointment only.

The Waynesboro Public Library will host more than thirty authors during Author Fest on Saturday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the fourth year of the free annual event that showcases local authors who will be meeting the public and selling and signing books.

The Waynesboro Public Library will host a free program on African American Genealogy from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 3. Participants will learn how to research their family tree and ways to overcome challenges faced by those working on African American genealogy.

The audience at Waynesboro Public Library should be in for a show when Mad Science Laboratories of Central Virginia presents Spin Pop Boom!

Dr. Levine and the Dreaded Blues Lady, comprised of Lorie Strother and Stephen Levine, will appear in concert at the Waynesboro Public Library on Friday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m.
