Political leaders from across the Commonwealth weighed in today on Attorney General Mark Herring’s announcement that Virginia law makes students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival status.

Attorney General Mark R. Herring advised that, under current Virginia law, Virginia students who are lawfully present in the United States under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program qualify for in-state tuition, provided they meet Virginia’s domicile requirements.
