The Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization and BRITE Transit will hold a public meeting for the Richmond Road Corridor Study and the 250 Connector Route Study.

Route 745 (Arrowhead Valley Road) in Albemarle County will be closed to through traffic next week while crews replace the timber deck of the bridge over a branch of Moores Creek.

Part of Route 608 (Long Meadow Road) in Augusta County is scheduled to be closed from 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 19.

The Commonwealth Transportation Board will host nine meetings across the Commonwealth and is inviting the public to share feedback on transportation projects that have been scored and recommended for funding, as well as other transportation initiatives.

Governor Ralph Northam has proclaimed April as Highway Safety Month in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Part of Route 796 (Kiddsville Road) in Augusta County is scheduled to close Monday, April 1, for a culvert replacement.

Part of Route 631 (Old Buena Vista Road) in Rockbridge County is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, through 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4.
