The following is a list of highway work that may affect traffic in the Staunton District during the coming weeks.

VDOT invites the public to a “Pardon Our Dust” meeting on Tuesday, June 11 to learn more about the project to regrade the northbound lanes of Route 29 approaching the Route 215 (Vint Hill Road) intersection in northern Fauquier County.

In Augusta County the Thorny Branch Creek bridge on Route 762 (Grind Stone Road) will close for bridge work beginning on June 10 with scheduled completion on July 19.

State leaders today marked the start of construction on Fred Ex, a 10-mile extension of the I-95 Express Lanes in Northern Virginia.

The following is a list of highway work that may affect traffic in the Staunton District during the coming weeks. The Staunton District consists of 11 counties from the Alleghany Highlands to the northern Shenandoah Valley.

VDOT invites the public to attend a design public hearing for the proposed project to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Route 240 (Three Notched Road), Route 250 (Rockfish Gap Turnpike) and Route 680 (Browns Gap Turnpike) in Albemarle County.

An upcoming pipe replacement project will close a portion of Route 250 (Ivy Road) in Albemarle County in mid-June.

A portion of Route 658 (Kimball Road) in Page County is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. Monday, June 3, through 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6.
