The Virginia Department of Transportation will close part of Route 256 (Third Street) in Rockingham County from July 28-30, 2014. This is for repairs to the railroad crossing just west of Route 340 (Eastside Highway) in the town of Grottoes.

Due to weather constraints the Virginia Department of Transportation has rescheduled the closure of a portion of Interstate 64 to Wednesday and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work between mile markers 89 and 93 in the Fishersville area of Augusta County.
