Eastern Mennonite University announces Dominick Porter as its new head men’s volleyball coach. Porter, a 2007 graduate of the EMU program, will be the eighth head coach in the 24 seasons since men’s volleyball started in 1991.

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) has released the Draft 2013 Virginia Statewide Rail Plan for public review and comment. The comprehensive plan will provide a defined vision for passenger and freight rail transportation in Virginia through 2040.

State Sen. Ralph Northam’s lieutenant-governor campaign is highlighting his support for mass transit and his commitment to improving Virginia’s transportation network.
