Virginia State Police Trooper C.S. Peer is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash in Albemarle County. The crash occurred May 31 at 7:20 a.m. on Interstate 64 at the entrance ramp to the westbound rest area.
Paving work at the Route 250 / Interstate 64 interchange at Shadwell will close the westbound entrance ramp overnight tonight. The work will begin at 8 p.m. and will be completed no later than 6 a.m. Thursday.
