At 10:53 a.m. Friday (Nov. 1), Virginia State Police were called to the scene of a crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 near the 118 mile marker in Albemarle County. There is one confirmed fatality.
The crash remains under investigation.

An unidentified man was apprehended after a high-speed pursuit on Interstate 495 in the area of Telegraph Road in Fairfax County early Sunday morning.
