The Cinderella Project of the Shenandoah Valley is now a recognized non-profit by the IRS received by them on February 28th. The project was notified they are now a recognized 501(c) and will be tax deductible for donors.

Governor Terry McAuliffe has announced that the Virginia Cyber Security Commission will host a series of five town hall meetings across the Commonwealth. The town halls are designed to both inform the public on the work of the Commission and also gather stakeholder input.

First National Corporation announced this week that First Bank has received regulatory approval from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Bureau of Financial Institutions, a regulatory division of the Virginia State Corporation Commission, to acquire six branches in the Shenandoah Valley and central Virginia from Bank of America.
