Bridgewater College and Saint John’s Catholic Preparatory School, a coeducational Catholic college preparatory school located in Frederick County, Md., have entered into a partnership that provides guaranteed admission to Bridgewater.

Bridgewater College and St. Thomas Aquinas High School, a coeducational Catholic high school in Dover, N.H., have entered into a partnership that provides guaranteed admission to Bridgewater for qualifying students.

Bridgewater College will be instituting a test-optional admission policy for three years, starting with undergraduate applicants for the 2021-2022 academic year.

A total of $52,140 in funding for faculty-student summer research projects has been awarded to 12 Bridgewater College students who will conduct research under the mentorship of a faculty member throughout the summer.

Bridgewater College junior Stephen C. Pincus Jr. was awarded the Dale V. Ulrich Physics Scholarship, which honors a former professor of physics and dean and provost of the college.

Three Bridgewater College students, Alissa T. Coles, Katrina L. Martin and Danielle M. Werner, received scholarships from the Philomathes Society, the college’s scholastic honor society.

The Zane D. Showker Institute for Responsible Leadership awarded its 2020 Showker Prizes.

Seven Bridgewater College students were presented awards from the department of health and human sciences.

Bridgewater College’s Department of Biology has recognized seniors for their accomplishments in biology and environmental science.
