The event featuring author, musician and screenwriter James McBride at Bridgewater College scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18 has been postponed due to weather.

Members of the community are invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with Bridgewater College during its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, “Celebrating the Dream, Continuing the Journey.”

Bridgewater College Special Collections will exhibit “Getting the Band Back Together: A Celebration of Marching Bands at Bridgewater College,” a showcase of the historic BC marching band from 1950 to 1971 and the Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will present an endowed lecture on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Cole Hall at Bridgewater College.
