Eric Kniss, instructor of art at Bridgewater College, will exhibit “Recent Works: Sculpture and Drawing” Jan. 4 – Feb. 3 in the Cleo Driver Miller Art Gallery on the college campus.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development office in Virginia announced today an $18 million low-interest loan for Bridgewater College that will be used to renovate three residence halls.

Afrikaner Christo Brand – one of the men who guarded Nelson Mandela for 12 years in a South African prison and who became the future South African president’s confidant and accomplice – will speak at Bridgewater College on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m., in Cole Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Bridgewater College has been ranked one of the 50 Great Small Colleges for a Bachelor’s in Psychology 2015 by Online Psychology Degree Guide.

Bridgewater College will hold a CROP Meal from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the main dining hall in the Kline Campus Center.

Against the backdrop of the official opening of its Center for Engaged Learning yesterday, Bridgewater College announced that the Center’s new Institute for Teaching and Learning will bear the name of its benefactors, Ben F. and Janice W. Wade, in recognition of their support and their service to higher education.
