Museum interpretive center: Study funded, but where will project money come from?

The big news in Waynesboro this week is that the city and the Virginia Museum of Natural History have come up with the $50,000 needed to proceed with the development of a master plan for a proposed museum interpretive facility in Waynesboro. But what about the rest of the projected $7.4 million cost to build and open the interpretive center? Where will that money come from?

High-schoolers experience life as State Police trainees

High school students from across the Commonwealth became the newest graduates of the Junior Law Cadet program, which is co-sponsored by the Virginia State Police and The American Legion. The 39 teenagers were presented their graduation certificates at the Virginia State Police Academy in Chesterfield County during Friday afternoon’s ceremony.
