Phase 2 of the Downtown Crozet Streetscape project has received honorable mention in the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance’s 2015 Transportation Engineering Awards. This recognition comes nearly a year after the completion of Phase 2 of the Crozet Streetscape project.

Virginia football head coach Mike London announced that two more members of the 2016 recruiting class have signed grant-in-aid paperwork, and will enroll early at UVA in January and will take part in spring practice.

The Waynesboro Police Department has made a fourth arrest in connection with a Sept. 18 home invasion robbery at an apartment in the 1000 block of Albemarle Avenue.

Attorney General Mark Herring announced this summer’s “Virginia Rules” camps, a series of summer day camps that will provide opportunities for young people to build positive relationships with law enforcement officers within their community, have outdoor camp-style experiences, and learn about Virginia law.
