
It’s road paving season in Central Virginia
Paving season has arrived in Central Virginia, where the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Culpeper District has plans to resurface 322 miles along state-maintained routes in its nine counties.

Ceramics, Watercolors, Microsoft Office applications, Self Defense, CPR, Crochet, Spanish, Defensive Driving and Motorcycle Safety are a sampling of the many courses offered for adults, with spaces still available this spring.

The following highway work is scheduled, weather permitting, in the Culpeper VDOT District during the upcoming week.

Shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday (April 2), the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office was in pursuit of a 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle. As the motorcycle was traveling along South Delphine Avenue, it passed Virginia State Police Trooper S.J. Nicely Jr.
