Zeus Digital Theaters announced today that First Bank and Trust Company will be providing the construction financing and the permanent financing for the new Zeus Digital Theater in Waynesboro.

“First Bank has been a wonderful partner over the years, and this latest financing package shows their continued trust and support of the Waynesboro market,” said Brett Hayes, owner of Zeus Digital Theaters.

“The past two years have been very difficult time for financing. The banks are under pressure on all sides to fund only sure bets. Their support on this entreprenuerial project during these tough economic times is very rare,” Hayes said.

Zeus Digital Theaters will the first all-digital, eight-screen cinema with stadium seating in Virginia. The theater is being constructed along Lew DeWitt Boulevard in the DeWitt Crossing commercial subdivision.

Construction is under way on the project. The theater is expected to open on Sept. 1, 2010.
