Glenn Youngkin fired a MAGA appointee to the UVA Board of Visitors for being too controversial. His plan for fixing that issue is replacing Bert Ellis with friggin’ Ken Cuccinelli.

Seriously, “Cooch,” climate change-denier, anti-LGBTQ OG, former Trump COVID task force member whose job there was to use COVID restrictions to deport international college students.

This guy is the guy that Youngkin got rid of my anti-“woke” MAGA friend Bert Ellis to create a space on the UVA Board of Visitors for.

“Ken’s legal and policy expertise will be incredibly valuable to ensure swift action with the ongoing changes and challenges in higher education. I have full confidence he will help ensure Mr. Jefferson’s University remains a place of opportunity, merit, and academic freedom,” Youngkin said in a statement released by his PR folks late Wednesday.

Abigail Spanberger can’t win the November election and fire Cuccinelli and the rest of those MAGA jokers from the UVA BOV soon enough.

The Cooch is a 1991 UVA alum.

He blinks occasionally.

If 93 more people had voted for Janet Oleszek for the State Senate in 2007, none of us would know who the hell he is.

“As an alumnus who loves this university deeply, I’m committed to aggressively advancing plans to restore a culture of merit and end all forms of discrimination,” Cuccinelli said in a statement released by the governor’s PR people.

“I look forward to the important work of reducing administrative spending to keep the University affordable for students and parents and passionately defending free speech,” Cuccinelli said.

At least Bert Ellis has made money outside of sucking off the government’s teat.
