“Yes! Yes! Yes!” Daniel Bryan in the sports spotlight

danielbryanIt seems simple. Daniel Bryan for some time now has led WWE fans in chants of “Yes! Yes! Yes!” with outstretched hands over head. But now what started in wrestling arenas has spread to the mainstream.

USA Today took a look at the “Yes!” phenomenon today. The chant has been seen everywhere from high school basketball games to a game involving Top 10 college basketball power Michigan State.

“People like to do it because it’s fun and it’s interactive,” Bryan, who is competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Title inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday, told USA Today. “Just the movement itself is part of the fun.”
