Women’s Basketball: UVA cruises to 82-48 win over Bethune-Cookman

UVA held another opponent under 50, posting an 82-48 win over Bethune-Cookman on Sunday at JPJ.

The ‘Hoos (5-1) have now held four of their six opponents under 50.

Olivia McGhee led the way on offense with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, which marked her second career 20-point performance.

Breona Hurd had 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Taylor Lauterbach had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who had a 58-37 advantage on the boards.

The Cavaliers return to action on Thursday when they take on Green Bay at the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout in San Juan. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. ET on FloHoops.
