The first test for Amaka Agugua-Hamilton’s Year 3 UVA Basketball team came back with red marks all over the paper.

Tenth-ranked Oklahoma led by 17 at the half, then outscored Virginia 35-16 in a decisive third quarter on its way to a 95-51 win on Friday night in Norman.

The ‘Hoos (1-1) shot 27.5 percent, committed 21 turnovers, and was blown out by a team that shot 6-of-32 from three.

The look was dramatically different from what we saw in the 104-68 season-opening win over American in JPJ on Monday.

Freshman Breona Hurd led the Cavaliers with 15 points on 6-of-17 shooting.

Paris Clark had 11 points, and Kymora Johnson 10, both on 4-of-13 shooting.

Next up for Virginia: Radford (1-1) on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ACC Network Extra.
