A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Waynesboro-Staunton-Augusta area from 1 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible.
Snow will begin early Tuesday afternoon and will be heaviest between 4-10 p.m. Tuesday.
Temperatures will be in the lower 30s at the outset of the storm Tuesday afternoon, with low temperatures overnight falling into the mid-20s.
