Winter Storm Warning for Central Shenandoah Valley

snow-plow-headerThe Greater Augusta area northward to the Northern Shenandoah Valley is under a Winter Storm Warning beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday and running into Monday.

The National Weather Service says 4 to 7 inches of snow is possible from the approaching storm, particularly at higher elevations in the Valley.

Precipitation is expected to fall mainly as snow, with some sleet possible early.
