Weekend concert at Wayne Theatre to feature music of animated films

dreams really do come trueThe Wayne Theatre will highlight the music of animated films with the upcoming June 9-10 concert of “Dreams Really Do Come True.”

“This show takes you through the timeless memories and the impact that the world of animation has had on our everyday life and experiences,” said original programming director Hank Fitzgerald, who has assembled an all-star local cast to bring “Dreams Really Do Come True” to life, including Haley Fentriss Roberts, Liz Leone, Jeremy Douylliez-Willis, Blair Wingfield, C.J. Desantis, Danielle de Alminana, Mary Elam, Anna Phillips and Chelsie Burks.

The song list for the concert includes “Out There” from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Once Upon a Dream” from “Maleficent,” “A Dream is a Wish” from “Cinderella,” and “Let It Go” from “Frozen.”

The Wayne Theatre presents Dreams Really Do Come True/The Music Of Animated Films on Saturday, June 9, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for children and $15 for adults.
