The Waynesboro Y will hold an open house Monday from 4-8 p.m. to celebrate the completion of its “Refresh Project.”

The Y renovated the main floor and lobby, purchased new fitness and cardio equipment and upgraded plumbing, air condition and electrical work.

The project took approximately eight months to complete.

“These renovations help our building to be more sustainable and last into the future,” said Anne Hudlow, executive director for the Waynesboro Y. “It allows us to continue offering strong programs, create more functional space, and grow to meet the needs of our community.”

Food will be available for purchase. There will be guided tours of the renovated area, children’s activities and a promotion to welcome new members.

“This is an exciting step into our future, and it’s only the beginning,” Hudlow said.
