Waynesboro traffic stop nets hidden drugs

Gangaware, Dale Raymond IIIThe Waynesboro Police Department arrested a Staunton man on drug and traffic charges Thursday afternoon after a traffic stop netted hidden controlled substances.  Dale Raymond Gangaware III, 47 years old, is facing two felony charges of Possession of a Schedule I or II Drug a misdemeanor Driving on a Suspended License/3rdor subsequent offense.

As part of an ongoing drug investigation, officers stopped Gangaware’s vehicle, a 2003 Kia, in the 100 block of West Broad Street. They determined Gangaware had a suspended license and had been convicted of driving on a suspended license on other occasions.  They searched his vehicle and found suspected methamphetamine and Adderall in a plastic bag covered by mortar in a paint can.  Both items were seized.

Gangaware is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
