Pullen, Marquis LamarThe Waynesboro Police Department has arrested two Waynesboro teenagers after they went on a BB gun rampage in the Club Court neighborhood over the weekend.

Officers charged Marquis Lamar Pullen, 19 years old, and a seventeen year old male who is a friend of Pullen’s with several offenses involving vandalism, theft and fraud. The second suspect’s name will not be released because he is a juvenile.   All the crimes appear to have occurred in the overnight hours of August 2, 2015.

At approximately 6:30 a.m., the Police Department began receiving calls from residents in the Club Court neighborhood of the city claiming several reports of windows being damaged by BBs.  In all, five victims reported damage or tampering to their vehicles. In addition, one of victims in the 1100 block of Club Road reported her vehicle had been moved overnight and a credit card was missing.  Whoever took the credit card attempted to use it at an ATM at a local bank around 2:00 AM but was unsuccessful at withdrawing cash.  The damage total to all the vehicles is approximately $2,000.

The officers’ investigation led them to Pullen and his juvenile accomplice.  They were able to recover the stolen credit card, a BB gun and BBs.  Both were taken into custody later in the day on August 2.

Pullen and his accomplice face the same eight charges –

  • Credit Card Theft (felony)
  • Unauthorized Use of Vehicle (f)
  • Credit Card Fraud (misdemeanor)
  • Tampering with a Motor Vehicle (m)
  • 4 counts of Destruction of Property (m)

The juvenile is being held at the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Detention Center.  Pullen is being held at Middle River Regional Jail.
