Waynesboro Police seek Silk Road dine, dash suspects

Chris Graham

silk-road-suspectsThe Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance from the community to help identify two individuals involved in defrauding a restaurant.

On Friday, November 18, at approximately 7:55 p.m., the suspects entered the Silk Road restaurant, 2040 Rosser Avenue, and ordered food and alcoholic beverages.  They ran up a bill of $56.51 (including tax).  Instead of paying their bill, the suspects left the restaurant without paying.

Surveillance images indicate they left in a gray Subaru SUV.

The suspects are described as a white couple, one male and one female, in their mid to late twenties.

Images from the restaurant’s surveillance system are attached.  The female is standing while the male is sitting in the booth.

If anyone has information as to the location of these individuals, please call the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 241-1382 to speak with Officer E Bourne  or call Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-2017. Anyone who gives information that leads to an arrest of the offenders can receive a cash reward.
