Waynesboro Police seek help in ID’g man wanted in Kohl’s shoplifting

Chris Graham

The Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to help identify a man who stole over $400 in electronics from a local store earlier in the month.

On Oct. 9, an unidentified white male entered Kohl’s, 841 Town Center Drive, and walked to the electronics department. He stole a set of Beats headphones, a Jam headset, and a wireless speaker by removing them from their packages and concealing the property before leaving the store.  They had an aggregate value of $429.

The store’s loss prevention staff found the empty packages and reported it to the police department.

Surveillance images provided by the store show a white male with short brown hair and stubble.  He appears to be in his late teens to early twenties.  He is wearing khaki shorts and a gray and black striped hooded jacket.

Anyone with information in this incident is asked to call Officer Will Elliott at the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1(800)322-2017.  Information given to Crime Stoppers may be given anonymously.  Callers with information that lead to an arrest in this case are eligible for a cash reward.
