Waynesboro Police have charged two city residents in connection with a reported Sept. 27 shooting incident that involved a tow truck driver attempting to repossess a vehicle.

Charles Richard Ramsey, 37, and Christina Lafon Harrison, 37, have both been charged in connection with the incident. Ramsey, who was arrested Monday after a high-speed chase in Augusta County that resulted in two additional arrests and the seizure of drugs, guns and $19,000 in cash, faces five felony charges in the tow truck shooting incident.

Harrison faces two misdemeanor charges for allegedly giving false information to police regarding the shooting.

Ramsey is being held at Middle River Regional Jail on the charges related to the shooting and the incident in Augusta County.

Harrison is free on bond.
